Objectives & Mission

SAADC‘s main objective is to maintain Saudi Sports as field of glorious achievements, and to reach the International level while remaining doping-free by implementing the following responsibilities:
 
1.   Planning, implementing and monitoring anti-doping policies, after getting the required accreditation, for the following:
1.   Programs of education and awareness on the dangers of prohibited substances in sport, and ways of detecting them.
2.   WADA-Accredited DCO training programs.
3.   Doping Control Program which includes TUE granting, Testing, In and out of competition, Result management and Sanctions.
4. Cooperation, in the field of anti-doping, with organizers of Arabic, Regional, Continental and International sports events conducted in Saudi Arabia.
2.  Encouraging Saudi national sports federation to implement Anti Doping programs in their activities.
3.    Supervising and following up Anti-Doping programs in national sports federation and organizations.
4.    Preparing and supervising the construction of Doping Control Stations in Saudi Arabia.
5.    Cooperating with other relevant national organizations outside the sport movement, and which are involved in considering anti-doping issues with the official organizations.
6.    Cooperating with other relevant Anti-Doping National, Gulf, Arabic and International organization and agencies.
7.    Encouraging reciprocal Testing between National Anti-Doping Organization. Especially with RADO countries in the Gulf.
8.     Vigorously pursuing all potential anti-doping rule violations within its jurisdiction including investigating into whether Athlete Support Personnel or other Persons may have been involved in each case of doping.
9.     Monitoring the implementation of WADA Code and UNESCO convention against doping in Saudi Arabia.
10. Promoting anti-doping research and book writing in Saudi Arabi
